The California Women’s Health Survey (CWHS) is supported by the California Department of Health Services, the California Department of Mental Health, the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, California Medical Review, Inc., and the Public Health Institute. It has been ongoing since 1997. Interviews are conducted with females aged 18 and older. The purpose of this survey is to collect information on a variety of health related behaviors and attitudes from a sample of randomly selected adult women and think about care plan for self care deficit. The annual sample size for this survey is roughly 4,000 interviews.
